Privacy
Short version: we keep your email to send you the 6 am issue, and we never sell or share it.
- What we keep. Your email address, your first name if you give one, the edition you pick, when and where on the site you signed up, and who invited you, if anyone. We also keep a scrambled code made from your network address, only to stop fake sign-ups. It can't be turned back into the address.
- What we do with it. Send you the 6 am email and one welcome email. That's all.
- What we never do. Sell, rent, trade or share your email with anyone. Sponsors never see it.
- Leaving. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe at the bottom. To have your information deleted completely, email info@mocoledger.com.
- Reading the site. No tracking cookies and no ad trackers. We count visits and email opens with a code that changes every day, so we can't tell who you are or follow you from one day to the next. Your reading streak is stored only in your own browser.
- Who handles it. MoCo Ledger sends its email from its own mailbox at its web host, Hostinger, and stores your information on that server.
- For grown-ups. The newsletter is for parents and residents. If you're under 13, please don't sign up.
